Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Hands of Time Wellness collects on this website, why, and what you can do about it. It covers this website only. Hands of Time Wellness is the trade name the practice operates under.

The short version

We collect what you type into our contact form. Our website host keeps normal server logs. The contact page loads a spam filter and a map, and both of those can see your IP address.

We do not run analytics on this site. We do not run advertising or marketing pixels. We do not record your screen or your mouse movements. We do not sell your information.

Because we are a massage and wellness practice, some of what you tell us can count as health information under Washington law. That is covered in a separate page: Consumer Health Data Privacy.

What you give us

Our contact form asks for five things:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • Which service you are interested in, picked from a list
  • Your message, which is a free text box

That is the only form on this site. We use what you send to reply to you, to answer your question, and to talk about booking a session. Nothing on this website asks you to create an account, and nothing on this website takes a payment.

The message box is open text. Please send only what you are comfortable sharing by email. If you would rather describe something sensitive out loud, call us instead at (602) 380-7829.

What gets collected automatically

Server logs

Our web host records standard request information for every visit: your IP address, your browser type, the page you asked for, and the date and time. This is how the site gets delivered to you and how we keep it online and secure.

Spam filter on the contact page

The contact page loads an automated spam filter. It watches how you interact with the page, such as timing and movement patterns, and gives your visit a score so we can tell a real person from an automated bot. To do that, the filter receives your IP address and browser information, and it may store a small token in your browser. It runs only on the contact page. If it scores your visit as automated, your message will not go through, and you can call or email us instead.

Map on the contact page

The contact page shows an embedded map so you can find the studio. The company that provides the map receives your IP address and browser information when the map loads. It loads only on the contact page.

Nothing else

Every other page on this site loads only from our own server. No other outside company is contacted, and no tracking runs on those pages.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies of its own, and stores nothing of its own in your browser. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to ask you about on our side.

The spam filter described above is the one exception. It is run by an outside company and may set its own cookie or store its own token through your browser on the contact page. You can block or clear that through your browser settings. If you block it, the contact form may not submit, and you can reach us by phone or email instead.

We do not use tracking for advertising. Nothing on this site follows you to other websites, and nothing changes what you see based on how you got here.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your information, and we do not trade it. We share it only with the kinds of companies we need to run the practice:

  • Our web host. It serves the website and keeps the server logs described above.
  • A form delivery service. When you press send, it carries your five form fields to our email inbox.
  • Our email provider. Your message lands in a normal business email inbox and stays there like any other email.
  • An automated spam filter. It scores contact page visits as described above.
  • A map provider. It draws the embedded map on the contact page.
  • Our online booking and scheduling service. If you choose to book, you leave this website and go to a separate booking site. What you enter there is handled under that service's own policy, not this one.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety or our legal rights.

Text messages and phone calls

Our contact form asks for a phone number so we can reach you about your request. We will call or text you about your question, your appointment, or your session.

There is a checkbox on the form for text messages. It is not checked by default. If you check it, you agree to receive text messages from us at the number you gave us.

  • Message frequency varies.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to cancel. Reply HELP for help.
  • Consent is not a condition of purchase.
  • Your messages are carried by a mobile carrier, which handles them under its own terms.
  • This Privacy Policy explains how we handle the number you give us.

You can also just tell us to stop by replying to any message, by email, or by saying so on the phone.

How long we keep things

Your message stays in our email inbox the same way any other email does. We do not have an automatic delete schedule, and we are not going to claim one here. If you want your message and your details deleted, ask us and we will delete them.

Server logs and the spam filter's records are kept by those companies on their own schedules, which we do not control.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

  • Show you what we have about you.
  • Correct anything that is wrong.
  • Delete what you sent us.
  • Stop contacting you, by text, by phone, or at all.

On advertising: we do not run ad tracking on this site, so there is nothing here to opt out of. If you want to limit ad personalization across the web generally, these industry tools work at the browser level:

Children

This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information through this site from a child under 13. If a child sent us something, contact us and we will delete it. For clients under 18, a parent or guardian handles booking and intake with us directly.

Changes to this policy

If we change how this site collects or shares information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. The date at the top is a real date that we set by hand, not a number generated by a computer clock.
